Week of 4/13
Academic English with Mrs. Butenschoen
We will be starting two ongoing projects that should take us much of the remainder of the school year. The assignments below can be found on my webpage on the LHS website staff directory page. Or click here: https://hs.lynden.wednet.edu/cms/One.aspx?portalId=1414&pageId=4720
- Reading/Speaking and Listening Log – this assignment makes sure you’re practicing your English so you don’t go backward before next year.
- Family Cultural Project – This assignment answers the question: What experiences have shaped me and my family? It is designed to get you communicating and writing about your family. I’ll update the Due Dates section each week, and add specific information and handouts, so you know what you will have to get done by when, but if you’re bored, you can work ahead.
For this week, please complete the reading/speaking and listening log assignment for the week. Also, please read through the Family Cultural Project Assignment and send me a Remind or an email so that I know you read it. If you have questions about it, please contact me!
I miss seeing you all in person!
Stay safe –
Mrs. B.
